These photos were all taken with a Fujifilm X100, using a Hoya R72 infrared filter which blocks almost all visible light but lets near infrared through. Since so much light is blocked, one must shoot at ISO 6400 in order to have a chance at handholding the shot, even when shooting in sunlight. All of these images were shot at ISO 6400 at f/2.8 and shutter speeds ranged from 1/3 to 1/20 second. The X100 can autofocus surprisingly well through the dark IR filter.
RAW images were converted to B&W in Adobe Lightroom v3.4 and a self-made "grain&glow" action used in Photoshop CS5 in order to simulate the traditional grainy look and halation glow of (cough) Kodak HIE 35mm IR film.
