2012 Celebration of Light Fireworks

Brazil - August 1st

Again shot from the Burrard Bridge, although the original plan was to head out to Jericho Beach. Increasing clouds over the city would have probably made an ugly orange glow behind the fireworks to the east, so back to the bridge it was to shoot towards the west. It was much darker that the previous night with overcast skies and less light on the city.

Lots of interesting colours were seen during this show, with golden yellows, oranges and some teal greens as well. The wind direction made for minimal obscuring smoke from where I was standing, so great for photos again!
