I shot the last Celebration of Light fireworks from Jericho Beach. Tonight, Italy put on a great show, but while it was beautifully clear, it was also calm and smoke hung around where the fireworks were after only a few minutes. In addition, there was a lot of heat shimmer and lastly, being on a pier with people walking back and forth, there was also a fair bit of vibration blurring the longer exposures. Nevertheless, despite all that at least the fireworks shots turned out okay and, for that matter, perhaps the smoke even added another dimension of interest...
