With the unpredictable weather in Vancouver this time of year, I decided to take advantage of a surprisngly nice Christmas Day and test the new Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8R LM OIS WR zoom lens. Whew, that's a mouthful! This lens is equivalent to a 75-210mm zoom in full-frame 35mm terms and has a fast triple linear-motor focusing (LM) system, an extremely effective optical image stabilizer (OIS) and also boasts weather resistant (WR) construction. Photos 1-16 were all hand-held with OIS switched on and the rest were on a tripod with OIS switched off. Raw files were processed using the latest beta 4 of Iridient Developer v3.0 and Lightroom 5.7.1.
