Here's wishing everyone the very best for this holiday season! On a walk home through Vancouver a few days ago, I took many photos of the festive lights that were on display everywhere. My Fujifilm X-Pro2 was just updated to the very latest v4.0 firmware and I now have a live blinking overexposure warning in the EVF, making it easy to ensure that all the lights in my exposures were well exposed to maximize their colour saturation. Using my XF 10-24mm f/4 OIS with its excellent built-in stabilzation, means that I was able to handhold all these night photos - no tripod needed! I used the 10-24mm on all photos but 19 & 20, where I used my 55-20mm zoom, and since it's stabilized as well, I was able to get sharp handheld photos with it too. The first two photos (and the fourth) are of a tree that is constantly changing, cycling through a rainbow of colours. The tree in photo 20 was reflecting in the brushed metal sign in photo 19, making for a colourful effect.
