Our visit to Bryce Canyon started out with major disappointment. It was overcast, foggy and cold, with slushy snow on the ground. You could hardly see into the canyon and I thought the best shots I might get that day could be those of various little snow creatures (photos 3-7) perched on the wooden fence railings! However thankfully, just before sunset the skies cleared and I had some absolutely gorgeous light. However it was a very short window of opportunity. All the evening shots with the good light were taken during a mere 21 minute period from 5:45pm to 6:06pm! I shot and changed lenses frantically to capture as much as I could, and even managed to squeeze in a few panoramas. Those can be seen by following the "back to post" link above...
These images were shot with my Fujifilm X-Pro2 and raw files were processed using Capture One Pro. Any shots with a focal length of 9mm were taken with a Laowa Zero-D 9mm f/2.8.
