Photos 1-7 were taken in Capitol Reef National Park and 8-9 were near Hanksville, UT. Photos 11-14 were at the Hite Overlook, with Hite Marina off in the distance on what normally are the banks of Lake Powell. The water level has been so low in recent years, that the Colorado River there is no longer a lake! Hite Marina's boat launch is high and dry, as can be seen in photo 13, with water nowhere in sight. Photos 15-21 are views from the Moki Dugway, a crazy twisty and steep dirt road, with many zig-zags that can truly be called "hairpin turns", descending down to the plateau where Mexican Hat is situated. Photos 22-24 were taken at "Forrest Gump Hill" with Monument Valley seen in the background and a lucky encounter with a group of wild horses. The last photo is the hotel in Mexican Hat where we stayed, right on the banks of the San Juan River, where my mother and father also stayed many years prior...
These images were shot with my Fujifilm X-Pro2 and raw files were processed using Capture One Pro. Any shots with a focal length of 9mm were taken with a Laowa Zero-D 9mm f/2.8. GPS location is provided via Google Maps in a new browser window when you click the globe icon at the upper left corner of each thumbnail.
