Hawaii 2019 - Volcanoes National Park

These photos were all taken in and around Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Photos 29-32 show some Nene geese, otherwise known as Hawaiian geese, and they also happen to be the world's rarest species of goose. Photo 39 is a lava casting of a tree, where my dad is shining my flashlight down to light up the bottom, and where unfortunately there seems to be some garbage visible. There are an endless and fascinating variety of lava formations to be seen in the park...
These images were shot with a Fujifilm X-H1 and raw files were processed using Capture One Pro. Any shots with a focal length of 9mm were taken with a Laowa Zero-D 9mm f/2.8. GPS location is provided via Google Maps in a new browser window when you click the globe icon at the upper left corner of each thumbnail.
