The first photo of Emily enjoying some shave ice was taken in Kailua Kona. Photos 2-6 were taken at my mother's memorial (I.M. for Ingrid Mander), just outside of the small fishing village of Miloli'i. Emily took the nice photo of me and my dad in photo 6. Photos 7-9 were taken at Miloi'i Beach Park, and the small church was where Emily and I originally were going to get married - the story is in the blog posting that this gallery accompanies.
Photos 10-34 were taken at the Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park, north of Miloli'i, and the last photo of Emily was taken at Keoki's South Kona Grindz. That restaurant has some of the best fish & chips I have ever eaten, featuring wahoo (ono) as the fish, a close relative of the king mackeral.
