• Changed home page e-mail address link and image rollover to mander@telus.net. I'm now on ADSL - yippee!

October 16, 2000

• Added ugly green web counter to home page. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out how to change it to another colour!
• Fixed background colour specification on the Arizona gallery image pages. Internet Explorer would not reliably display a black background - at times it would be green or white... yuck! The Utah gallery images do not have this problem.

September 17, 2000

• Added monitor calibration page and link on home page.
• Added calibration blurb on site info page.
• Removed "Think Different" logo from home page for various reasons.
• Changed "Made on a Mac" logo in site info page to a cool spinning one (fun with Adobe ImageReady).

• Posted changes to the Utah Gallery.
• Posted changes to the locations page.
• Added a few more links to the links page.
• Changed the text on the Gallery Home page.
• Changed date on any pages modified in September.

August 28, 2000

• Todays changes not posted to my site.
• Updated the Utah Gallery and added many new images from my 1999 and earlier trips.
• Added the Powell Point and Burr Trail descriptions to the locations page.
• Put [images] links back to the gallery page at the end of each section in the locations page.

August 26, 2000

• Added bibliography section to site info page.
• Added the initial links page.
• Added the initial equipment page.
• Added the initial biography page (only has photo of me at Lee's Ferry).
• Changed the gallery home text slightly.
• Removed under construction apology note from the site info page - almost done now! Soon I can work on adding more images...

August 23, 2000

• Embedded copyright text into home page background image. Often text wrapped into 2 lines on many browsers - ugly! Also increased the JPEG compression on the homepage background image for faster loading.
• Slight corrections to text in locations and site info pages.
• Added "this site is best viewed with..." text as well as a Macromedia Flash Player link button to site info page.
• Took paragraph break away between title banner and link arrows in all the image pages. This should allow full image display without vertical scrolling on most browsers running at only 1024x768.

August 21, 2000

• Changed email button and link in site info page to actually display the email address.
• Reduced font size in several locations to display better on some PC browsers.
• Changed gallery thumbnail titles to left justified with more space for bigger default text on some browsers.
• Spaced thumbnails away from buttons on left for slightly roomier feel.
• Combined slide show button text with slide graphic - again to display properly on browsers with larger default text.
• Changed slide show [back] link to [back to gallery] for less ambiguity.

August 20, 2000

• Added this site revision page with link in site info page.
• Updated several descriptions on the locations page.
• Re-ordered some of the thumbnails in the Utah Gallery to "flow" better visually.
• Added Utah and Arizona gallery slide shows (using Adobe LiveMotion Tryout).
• Added javascript back() links on the locations page.
• Added "Made with Mac" and "ColorSync" web badges to the site info page. Think different... think Apple Computer!

• Changed all the image title banners from white to tan and centered the title text.
• Took Arizona photos out of Utah Gallery and put them in Arizona Gallery!
• Added text captions over thumbnails to indicate location of photos.
